The Barbados Light & Power (BL&P) is about to spend nearly Bds$25 million to build an electricity generating wind farm, possibly at Lambert's, St Lucy, reports The Daily Nation (Jan. 29, 2003). Technical services manager, Peter Williams said the BL&P was working on feasibility studies with wind farm developer, Renewable Energy Systems Ltd (RES), the company which undertook a wind farm study recently for Government.
